EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) or tapping is a stress reduction technique that combines elements from cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure therapy and NLP with a physical component: ‘tapping’ on certain points on your head, torso and hands.
This tapping sends a calming signal to your body and brain, and if you do it while thinking about something stressful (for example, an unpleasant event or something you’re afraid of) you teach your brain that it no longer needs to worry about that and that your body can relax. You are essentially re-training your brain.

Daily stress. Almost everyone experiences stress from time to time. Maybe you're feeling nervous about an upcoming job interview or presentation at work or you're worrying about a difficult situation. Tapping can help you calm your nervous system and find a more relaxed way forward.
Recurring stress/anxiety. Maybe you are not (only) experiencing stress around a one-time event, but you feel anxious or stressed more often, either in a specific situation (e.g. fear of flying) or in general. By figuring out where the stress stems from and tapping on those root causes, the stress symptoms often diminish.
Goals. Would you like to achieve a certain goal, but do you feel stuck? Sometimes (often unconscious) negative thoughts or limiting beliefs get in our way. Tapping can help you gain clarity about what's holding you back and break through those blocks, so you can experience more freedom and move forward.
